About Us

Welcome to SparkPoint Innovations, home of our two popular science programs: Rocky, The Big Canyon Balloon and Orb of Orbit Earth Expo. Our interactive, in-school programs travel to elementary and middle schools around the country to deliver geology and astronomy programs to K-8 students! Kids love learning about earth and space science with our interactive teaching methods and unforgettably huge teaching models in their school gym.

Both the Big Canyon Balloon and Orbit Earth Expo were created by Laurie Henry, a 20+ year teaching veteran who has taught students from preschool to high school and served as an district elementary science coordinator. In 2008, Laurie formed Trinity Science Solutions LLC utilizing her patented and unique inflated teaching models. The Big Canyon Balloon, a 15ft tall, 40ft wide inflated canyon model has wowed students to new levels of understanding of earth science while Orbit Earth Expo, her space science program, highlights a 14ft realistic globe and 3.5ft moon to recreate the relationships between the earth, moon, and sun. SparkPoint Innovations LLC was formed in 2012 to bring Laurie’s innovative programs to the students of Georgia. Over time, we have added offices in multiple states. Our goal is to eventually bring these amazing interactive programs to students in all 50 states!

SparkPoint Innovations’ teachers work to ignite a passion for science in students. We are experienced teachers who love bringing science concepts to life in new ways that students will never forget.  We can’t wait to visit your campus – call to get on our schedule today!
