Orbit Earth Expo launched in Georgia in 2012 and in the Carolinas in 2015. Based in Raleigh, NC, the program delivers content to elementary and middle schools all over NC, SC, TN, and VA. Teachers and administrators love the alignment to Virginia Standards of Learning and the unforgettable reference for students. These hard to teach concepts in astronomy are a snap for students when they are recalling information for the VA SOLs after experiencing Orbit Earth Expo!

Orb, along with his Sun George and his appropriately scaled moon, travel to schools with their teacher friend, Megan Fisher. Megan grew up in a small town outside of Lancaster, Pennsylvania and wanted to branch out so she moved to Brooklyn, New York. She obtained her dual Early Childhood Education and Special Education bachelor’s and master’s degrees from CUNY – Medgar Evers College and Touro University. She taught elementary school for the past 6 years in Brooklyn until she recently moved to Raleigh, NC after the birth of her first daughter. She can’t wait to introduce you to Orb!
