WINSTON-SALEM, NC

What a fun summer visit! Tracy had a blast following the kids’ natural curiosity. Ranging from 1st through 7th grades, the kids traveled the world through rotation and revolution, learned about moon phases, seasons, and eclipses.

Later, they took advantage of the giant world map in the hallway to discuss how flat maps distort our view of the world (and the size of Canada and Europe!). The group wrapped up with a discussion of why winters in the Southern Hemisphere are so much milder.

Thanks for a great day! We hope to see you next summer!
